This establishment has a rich history of 50 years, specializing in “Robatayaki” , a traditional Japanese cuisine where seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients are grilled on a charcoal fire in front of the customers around a sunken hearth known as an irori. The term “Robatayaki” comes from “Ro” meaning hearth (irori) and “bata” meaning edge, referring to enjoying grilled food at the edge of the irori. Buildings and interior designs reflect traditional Japanese architectural styles.

One of the notable features is that the food is cooked right in front of the customers and served directly to them using a large wooden paddle known as a shamoji. This is a well-known characteristic of Robatayaki. It provides a great opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture. Another unique aspect is that each dish is generously sized, providing a high level of satisfaction.

the atmosphere of the establishment

The atmosphere is lively and vibrant, with friendly and energetic staff members. The interior is spread over three floors, but I highly recommend dining at the counter seats on the first floor. This is where you can experience the true essence of Robatayaki, as the food is cooked right in front of you and served immediately. If you visit, I strongly encourage you to try the counter seats.
